    David Duchovny In Concert

    San Fran, 8pm
    David Duchovny
David Duchovny is an award-winning actor, filmmaker, director, New York Times best selling author and a singer songwriter. Duchovny today announced he will perform his first-ever New Zealand concert dates, heading to Auckland and Wellington in February 2018.
Currently bunkered down in the studio working on his sophomore album, ‘Every Third Thought’ due out later this year, New Zealand fans will be some of the first to hear these new songs live. Tickets and Meet & Greet VIP Experiences go on sale at midday Monday, August 14.
My Live Nation members can access tickets first during the exclusive pre-sale starting at midday tomorrow, August 11.
David Duchovny emerged to become one of the most highly acclaimed actors in Hollywood as the star in one of the most well-renowned television series of the past two decades, ‘The X-Files’. His name is also synonymous with television shows such as ‘Aquarius’, ‘Californication’, ‘Twin Peaks’, amongst cult feature films, ‘Kalifornia’, ‘The Rapture’ and ‘Julia Has Two Lovers’.
The cult phenomenon of ‘The X-Files’ made David Duchovny a household name and fixated millions of self-proclaimed ‘X-Philes’ on the brilliant and sullen FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder, as he and his partner explored unbelievable and out-of-this-world cases.
Duchovny’s remarkable performance on the show earned him the title of ‘Zeitgeist Icon’. Reuniting for the eleventh season in 2017, ‘The X-Files’ and David Duchovny continue their legacy and will once again have millions hooked!
Adding to the already extraordinary list of accomplishments, David Duchovny introduced the world to his music with his evocative debut album, Hell Or Highwater, a rock album that features Duchovny’s musings on pride, loss and lots of remorse. The album pays homage to his musical heroes: Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen and R.E.M.
Having sold out shows across Europe and the USA, don’t miss this unique opportunity to see a true Hollywood star live in concert for the first time on New Zealand soil.

We’ve got the kids covered, with colouring in, facepainting, toys and kid-friendly staff ready to get involved! – join our kids mailing list to find out more.

    KidzStuff Puppet Show and Workshop+
    * Please note, there will be no December Puppet Show for 2017. Join us in the New Year for the January Puppet Show on 27/1/18
Every fortnight The Cross celebrates free theatre for children with either a puppet show & workshop or an interactive production of a well known fairy tale from Playshop.
Today we have Fingal from KidzStuff Theatre, our puppeteer master - she and her puppet friends have an exciting tale to tell, and their show will be followed by a puppet making workshop - just bring a sock and you could be leaving with a new puppet friend!
Every other fortnight, on the second Saturday of the month, we host Playshop's interactive kids theatre productions, where the actors and kids recreate classic fairy tales, using dress ups, props and creative minds!
As per all our activities at The Cross, the shows are free, so come one come all, bring a friend or three and enjoy some fun theatre and stories. Shows start at 11am in our Guest Room so make sure you're in nice and early to secure a good spot.
These shows will go hand in hand with our other weekendly kids activities such as face painting, crafts and colouring-in. Check out our kids activities here, or sign up to our newsletter here to stay in the loop with other events and fun things happening at The Cross for the little ones.
Southern Cross are proud sponsors of KidzStuff Theatre. If you enjoy these shows, check out their other plays and performances - usually in the school holidays!
